The Challenge
RIHCA needed a large, ever-growing library of print-ready collateral — certificates, invitations, menus, competition branding, event signage — that could be produced again and again for new occasions without ever looking ad hoc or inconsistent. Every request arrived with its own physical format and its own print constraints, from a hand-sized gift tag to a stage-sized backdrop, but all of it had to read as the same institution.
Design & Identity
The work is built around one flexible system rather than a series of one-off designs. RIHCA’s navy-and-gold identity anchors everything, while a paired typography system — a formal serif for institutional weight, a looser script for warmth — lets the same visual language stretch from a solemn award certificate to a playful, illustrated invitation. Recurring templates for certificates, standees, and menus were built to be relettered and reused rather than redrawn from scratch each time, so a new occasion could be turned around quickly without starting from a blank page.
Technical Execution
Built in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for production-ready artwork, with Canva in the mix for faster-turnaround pieces. Because almost everything here ends up printed rather than viewed on a screen, every file was built to production specs from the outset: bleed, exact dimensions, and print-ready color for large-format backdrops and media walls, roll-up standees, table signage, and small-run items like gift tags and stickers. Menus and certificates were designed as living templates — the layout stays constant while names, dishes, and headlines change from one print run to the next. The result is less a set of individual designs than a reusable, growing print library RIHCA can keep drawing on.
The Outcome
What’s shown here is a small sample of a much larger, ongoing body of work. Across ceremonies, competitions, fundraisers, and day-to-day hospitality service, the same design system keeps getting reused and extended, proof that a consistent visual identity can scale across dozens of formats and occasions without losing its polish or needing to be reinvented each time.
